Untitled 6 is an hour-long piece for an open configuration of string ensemble. Each instrument is retuned to a just intonation scordatura, to be played only on the open strings or at the first harmonic. The players simultaneously navigate two charts, overlaying tones in imitation or opposition, creating a kind of contrapuntal event that unfolds itself over the course of the hour.
